American Beauty "Frances"

Frances is the sixth in our “American Beauty Block of the Month” collection. Stick with it, and at the end of the year, you'll have 12 gorgeous blocks and innumerable variations to create a stunning Baltimore Album quilt. Inspired by our first "real life" American Beauty, the set is named for Frances Kirchner, an ancestor of one of our customers, who turned a log cabin into a home and left a legacy of warm memories for her loved ones-- what we should all aspire to! Frances is earthy, gentle and lively. The central block has an apple blossom and leaves, three tiny crabapples, wheat, and royal purple seed pods. From this, we've created 11 additional motifs for every imaginable use. Although intended as part in a set of twelve, imagine what your could do with just these designs-- design notes on sashing, a pillow project idea, and color charts are included with the set. As in most of our sets, you get all 12 designs in three different sizes, filling hoops from 100 x 100 to 200 x 155 with flowers from the most delicate to the very dynamic.
