Cottage of the Month Complete Master Set

Love this series? This is the master set of all twelve designs in all formats-- quilt blocks with finishing kit, mug rugs, and postcards.

Whatever things are lovely-- think on these things! This is our inspiration for the Cottage of the Month series-- each month of the year, stitch up a "virtue" to keep as a display or to gift as encouragement for a birthday, special occasion, or to a friend "just because." This set includes twelve mug rug designs from January to December that follow along with the holidays as well.

Mug Rug Set
Each month's set includes a lavishly detailed design in 16 ct., (5" x 7" stitch out), and 14 ct., (5-1/8" x 8" stitch out.) These mug rugs are all-in-the-hoop designs and do not need quilting, for easier than ever results. Complete photo instructions included-- back is made of a coordinating novelty print. Frame as a cross stitch design, add a hanging ribbon and change out each month as a wall display, or add quilt blocks and novelty winter prints to make a table runner. In addition, the design may be used as an applique to add borders, or for a place mat or other larger project as shown.

Postcards
Stitch up this tiny treasure each month, then make someone’s day be sending it as a postcard, or in an envelope. The Cottage Postcard design is a truly a tiny treasure with 18ct cross stitches! Finished size is 4-1/2”x 6-1/4.” The design includes full color photo instructions to make the postcard and postcard back shown. Approved to stamp and mail by the USPS as is—or use the template provided to make a custom envelope. Add a little hanging ribbon and just display your cute post card at home... write down a favorite saying, some short thoughts, or record the highlights of your month on the back of your card, then make a tiny, collectible album out of all twelve postcards when they are finished-- a fiber artist's or journaling memento!

Quilt Block
The same design in a square format, to open up more inspiration! Stitch up these lovely, perfect cross stitch treasures as a quilt square each month, then use each in a project of your own inspiration or save all twelve to stitch together into a glorious wall hanging at the end of the year. The Cottage Quilt Block design is provided in 5”, 6”, 7” and 8” squares for your use. These designs are not quilted in the hoop. Add a couple of coordinating quilt blocks to make a table runner or wall quilt... add borders of a gorgeous novelty print and make a pillow... there's no limit to what you can make with these intricate and lovely squares. Finishing kit with sashing and cornerstone designs is also included.
