American Beauty "Damaris"
Damaris is the next part of our “American Beauty Block of the Month” collection. Inspired by a book of Colonial American embroidery designs and named for one of the Mayflower’s littlest passengers, Damaris is daring, dauntless, and dazzling. The central block has an exotic purple bloom and buds; pomegranates, the symbol of truth and goodness; cabbage leaves and an entwined fern. From this, we’ve created 11 additional motifs for every imaginable use. Although intended as fourth in a set of twelve, imagine what you could do with just these designs. As in most of our sets, you get all 12 designs in three different sizes, filling hoops from 100 x 100 to 200 x 155 with designs from the most delicate to the most dynamic. Color charts and design notes with suggestion on how to make a small wall quilt with just one set are included.
